A large number of clinical studies in various tumour entities are available on mistletoe therapy with ISCADOR. The advantages of an ISCADOR therapy are:

✓ Improvement of quality of life and therapy adherence of tumour patients with conventional oncological therapies by reducing nausea, vomiting, pain and cancer-related fatigue (1,2)

✓ No reported interactions with common oncological pharmacotherapies (3-8)

✓ Part of national and international guideline recommendations (9)

• AGO guideline on “diagnostics and therapy of early and advanced breast cancer” (Germany): “Can” recommendation for mistletoe therapy with the aim to reduce therapy-related side effects of ongoing oncological standard treatments (Oxford Evidence Level 1a, Oxford Recommendation Level B).
• Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO) and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO): “Can” recommendation (grade C) for subcutaneous mistletoe therapy. It can thus be used to improve the quality of life of cancer patients.
• S3 guideline “Complementary medicine in the treatment of oncological patients” issued by the Working Group of the German Scientific Medical Societies (AWMF e. V.): “Can” recommendation with the aim of improving quality of life of cancer patients (Level of Evidence 1a)
