The anthroposophic pharmaceutics applied takes into consideration that different seasons result in different properties of mistletoe. The mistletoe is harvested during midsummer and midwinter. Aqueous extracts of the mistletoe harvested in summer and winter are blended in a special technical process.
Physiologically, mistletoe is shaped by its respective host tree (e.g. oak, apple, pine, elm, fir trees) which is reflected in its range of agents. By processing the different types of mistletoe separately, host tree specific mistletoe preparations are produced.
